Miriam's Dream

Apparently Miriam has interesting dreams. I came in halfway through her description of one to Mr. Pickles, and heard:

...and it was pink and purple allll over! ...Mommy, I want to tell you something! There was a dragon, and it breathed fire, and it swallowed too much and was sick and it gagged, and it BREATHED FIRE! So it went to the hostipal, and the doctor looked in its mouth and there was this HUGE HOLE and it wasn't never there before. So the doctor gave it a brand, new, SHINY one and put it in, and it was all better, and its mommy 'n' daddy were so happy. And it was a girl, and its mommy 'n' daddy named her Cindalella, and gave her a BOOTIFUL dress one, like in long Cindalella*, an' it was pink and had a bow on it, and beads, and a bow on her head. And then there was a bootiful pink carriage, so she could go to the ball, and it had a pink bow on its head, and there was a pink man, and he held on TIGHT. ...And that's my dream!


*"long Cindalella" is Miriam's name for Disney's Cinderella, as opposed to "short Cindalella" which is the Julie Andrews TV movie

It's hard to appreciate the full affect of her narration without all her hand gestures. They really make the story.
