Terri Schindler-Schiavo died this morning, after surviving almost 2 weeks without food or water. What does this say about our country, that we can legally starve an innocent woman to death? Throughout all this I couldn't help but think of St. Maximillian Kolbe who died the same way at the hands of the Nazis. I'm not normally given to pessimism, but this does not bode well for our country.
