Haha, no seriously, first meal ever was really mashed bananas.
He reacts this way to everything we give him, including water. He doesn't really know what to do with them once they're in his mouth. We might hold off on the solids for a couple more weeks -- he obviously has no love for them. Nursing is just fine by him, thankyouverymuch.
It's so fun watching how each baby reacts to solids when they're first introduced to them. Daniel *looks* like he likes it, but at the same time isn't quite sure.
ReplyDeleteI remember when Damien first got solids, he made some faces, but he didn't reject it. And then it got to the point where he wanted shovels and shovels of food instantaneously, basically as fast as nursing or a bottle would give him milk. There was always the fear he'd spit it all up eating so fast, but he never really did.
Even to this day, he's always hungry, accepting food whenever it is provided.
Yeah, he's a boy. A *growing* boy, at that. ;)
