The teacher made play dough for everyone, and the students used spices to decorate it. I wish our blog had Smell-O-Vision -- our house smells like a fascinating mixture of curry, cloves, and cumin. Especially curry. It reminds me of our newlywed days in our old apartment! *sniff*

ReplyDeleteYes, for Geography they studied India. The teacher is amazingly creative. They practiced drawing an outline of the country in a couple classes, and then the last day they all made salt dough maps. They got to sample lots of different types of Indian foods, too. My children are not adventurous eaters, however. :)
