You can hardly even see the welt (the big purple spot above her left eye), especially when I cover it with her bangs, so hopefully I won't be getting a call from Social Services. The poor child has gotten so many knocks on the head -- if she doesn't get into Harvard or win the Nobel Peace Prize we'll know why.
At least she doesn't seem the worse for wear. Little kids are amazingly tough. I'm glad she's OK.
