In January, we escaped for a couple days to Great Wolf Lodge. It was hard trying to find even a couple free days, due to a Certain Teenager's busy schedule. But we managed to carve out the time. And then told the kids to pack, without telling them where we were going. They're pretty smart, though -- several of them guessed it.
It started snowing while we were there. Nothing like spending the day at an indoor waterpark while the weather is horrible outside. :)

Miriam and Katie estimated that they climbed approximately 1,000 stairs. Everyone slept amazingly well.
The kids all agreed we are the best parents ever.
