A post I really, really should have published about 2 months ago.
Our first Autumn here was amazingly glorious.

There's nothing like the golden light of a fall afternoon. Why is that?
We're loving the seasons here.
We had our first snowfall the first week of December, a little early for us. Nobody minded!

The kids made a fort, and snowman, and two snow chairs. They were packed so well they took forever to melt. And I can't believe I didn't take a picture. Non sum dignus ut blog habeam.

Looking forward to what the rest of winter holds for us -- and then the glorious spring! We've been told there are bulbs planted in our yard, but have no idea where! It will be like a treasure hunt.

Pretty fall colors (yay!) and lots of leaves to rake (boo!) and then a pretty snow fall (yay!) which must be shoveled (boo!). Why does everything pretty require so much work?
